I know technically it’s still summer until the 21st, but in my heart fall begins on September 1st and I will be sweating in my sweatshirts as I’m in denial that it’s still 80 degrees out.
I've had Nine Stories on my shelf forever and may have read it at some point but I honestly don't remember. Maybe I'll pick it up after I reread The Catcher in the Rye. Franny and Zoey is a fave so it's nice to see you rank them in this post!

Came here to say the same thing! Bought my copy when I was in Seattle and remember buying a whole set of the Centennial editions. I have only read Franny & Zooey and started Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters, loved Catcher in the Rye back in HS so I plan on rereading this too. This must be my nudge of encouragement! love me some Salinger prose
